The Adventures of a Grandmother Young at Heart

On April 19, 2010 we went to have Family Home Evening with a favorite family of ours Mandy and Brandon Potts and who live in Manorbier. Just down the road from their home is the Manorbier Castle which is located above the sparkling bay shown in a couple of the pictures. The castle was built in the 12th century and for 250 years was owned by Lord de Barri and his family. They were Irish. It is famous for being the birth place of Gerald de Barri a medival historian. More fun then seeing the castle however was spending time with Mandy and Brandon.
