Ally and justin showed us a video Sunday of how they made a Gingerbread House at Christmas time at her mother's. It was soooooooooo funny--they used caulking guns and nails and who know what else to hold it together! Anyway as the credits were being given for the marvelous production that we had just viewed, the announcement of their upcoming child was part of the credits. They always have the most clever way of announcing their pregnancies and the sex of their babies. How I love my children and most of all my grandchildren. Ashley is running for 7th grade office right now and I am praying for her, Melissa has an amazing job interview coming up and we find out tomorrow whether Ruel passed the Bar. I've got a lot of praying to do so better sign off for today.

Update on Rex

I have been experimenting on blogging and it is fun and I will try to be as good as you all are. An update on my husband. He went to his Nephrologist two days ago and he was told he has 30% kidney function in the kidney that is left and that he will eventually be on dialysis. Well ,we don't want that so please remember us in your prayers. We have seen how prayers are answered so many times , so I know we will be blessed. I wanted to thank you all for your thoughtfulness during his surgery. So many of you were there during surgery and then the hospital visits and calls were so appreciated. Our children were wonderful!!! Our three girls flew in to be with us and our two boys were there giving blessings and visiting with us. We love our children, they are the best--you all are the best. We have a wonderful family and heritage. How we love having Grandpa with us everyday. Everyone remember that on August 2 we are giving Grandpa a Surprise Birthday Party. He will be 90 years old. We want from each of you pictures of your family and thoughts about Grandpa so we can do a page in a book from each of you. Bye for now.

My first post

I'm at Kristie's helping her with three adorable children because she is very sick and Joe is in Germany. We are going to bake cookies this afternoon. Of course I bought pre-made dough to cut down the effort. It is sooooooooooo cold in Utah but the groceries are sure cheaper. This certainly is a new adventure for me but I want to be part of all of you bloggers' lives. I am even going to try pictures down the way. The babies are crying and I need to go and play Grandma. Bye for now.
