More Fun Flat Inspections

This week we had the privilege of doing more flat inspections and then having lunch with these great elders. In the upper left and right hand pictures are Elders Heller from Germany (Zone Leader going home at the end of this transfer), Elder Wang from China, Elder Ezard from England (Zone Leader going home at the end of next transfer), and Elder Magpantay from Germany ( District Leader). In the bottom left hand picture are Elder Breuer from Germany and Elder Brown from Canada. They had the cleanest flat I have ever seen!!! In the last picture are Elder Garroway from Scotland and Elder Marston from England. Tears come to my eyes every time we leave these choice sons of God and I think of their dedication to Jesus Christ. They are unbelievable!!!!

FHE with DEAR, DEAR Friends

We had the privilege of having FHE with Catherine Rees and her two grandchildren, Janaya and Christian. Her beautiful daughter is also in the picture. Catherine is the wonderful lady that took us to St Fagans the first time and pushed Elder Crandall in a wheel chair all day long!!! There is a special bond between Catherine and myself. This family has stolen our hearts from the very beginning of our stay here in Wales!!!

Fourth of July Away from Home

The wonderful Dower family had us over for the Fourth of July and went way out of their way to prepare a "typical Fourth of July meal" for us and the missionaries. We love these great people, Noellette, Michael and Luke. The elders are Elder Mathews and Elder Hummer and are the best!!! Missed home on this fun day but the Dowers made up for it!!!

Our new home in Carmarthen

Here are pictures of our new home in Carmarthen. We moved in this Thursday and Friday and are very tired but are enjoying the home very much. We feel it will be a fun new start for us.

Pictures of our new home

Here are pictures of our new homes's bathroom, stairs, office and kitchen. We were nervous about the stairs but Elder Crandall seems to think he needs the exercise.

Our new bedroom

In our new home we brought the full size bed from the other bed room into the bedroom we use so we could be together. Notice the pictures of our grandchildren, Jesus, the first Presidency, the temple and my special work friends on the walls so I can look at them every day. The other grand children's pictures are on their way.

Farewell to the Greens

This week we went to the Mission Home and had a farewell dinner for the Greens who returned to Cedar City, Utah this week. This is in the home that President and Sister Ogden live in and they were wonderful to us all. Elder Crandall and I spent the night there since it is a 4 hour drive from Birmingham to Carmarthen. We had the privilege of having breakfast with the Ogdens and a lovely visit.
