In the previous post is a picture of two police women. That is how they all dress. They were very friendly to us and welcomed us to their country. Everyone knows we are from the US the minute we speak--they say we have an accent! The country side and roadsides are lined with these hedges which will be beautiful and green in the spring. The farmers use the hedges to separate their land. Notice how the sheep who are everywhere are still grazing on snow covered fields. There is the sign to our Village "Llangain" and the sign to our street "Dol y Dderwen".
