Here is a picture of Tesco the store we buy most everything at. It is similar to Walmart but with much less available and very different. There are a few national brands like "Heinz" or "Kellogs" but most are not familar. For instance they do not have graham crackers--we had to buy "Curious Cinnamon" cereal to use instead for my five in one bars. Their chocolate chips are much smaller as is everything and it is difficult to find any assortment of cake mixes etc. I had to search and search for marshmellows but finally found some that were packaged very differently. Our branch president's wife said when they came to the US that they felt that everything was in such large packages. It is a good thing packages are small here because our refrigerator is the size of the one in our basement at home--under the counter size.

Here I am at "Spars" Wale's version of Circle K in our opinion. This one is on our way home and we stop often to get a soda and a newpaper. Of course the news is of the UK. In a recent paper it featured the annual and traditional "fox hunt" with the horse back riders dressed in red hunting suits. They hold this on "boxing day", the day after Christmas and it is quite spectacular.

Sounds like it has been interesting cooking in England. Also, sound like you are getting into a routine and settling in. Sorry to hear your fridge is so small!
