Meals with Elders after Flat Inspections

The top picture is of Elder McKay from Payson,Utah and Elder Larsen from North Phoenix. Look at the size of that hamburger that Elder McKay ordered. Elder Larsen ate his order and half of Elder Crandall's pizza. They love good food when they can get it. They are awesome elders. You should see them teach the story of the Restoration using a rubics cube. Simply amazing and extremely effective.
The middle picture is of Elder Ezard from England and Elder Busch from Phoenix, Arizona. Elder Ezard served with Elder Bond from our ward and he is now the District Leader in the Newport District. They are both outstanding Elders.
The next picture is of Elder Smith from Powell, Wyoming and Elder Williams(Superman Williams)from South Jordan.
Elder Williams is our new District Leader in the Milford Haven District. and he did a super job this week with his first district meeting. We are working with them in their area to help with the less actives and therefore we see them more than some of the other Elders and we just love them. They are dedicated missionaries!!!

Pictures of the Mansion House

Following are many pictures of the Mansion House where I think it would be good for our family to stay when they come to get us when we are released. Reservations must be made at least a year in advance and they have great group rates--30 pounds per person per night which includes breakfast.

Inside the Mansion House

Here are pictures of the inside of the Mansion House of which I describe later. The window is a beautiful stained glass window but hard to capture it's beauty in this picture. The first picture is of the dining room where breakfast would be served and the large dining room is where Sunday dinners are served. The stairway leads to the bedrooms. It truly has the feel of old England.

The Mansion House

Here is the entrance to the Mansion House and the next picture is the side view which faces the ocean of which I have included in pictures. We ate there Saturday and the food was great. It is a bed and breakfast and can hold up to about 24 people. It is very close to where we live and to the ocean and a castle so it makes is vcry convenient for our family when they come out when we are released. Reservations must be made far in advance.

Here Elder Crandall and I are at the Mansion House where I think we want our children and other family members to stay when they all come to get us in the spring of next year. As you can see the ocean is right by us and I am told there are lovely beaches and a castle just down the road. It is very reasonably priced but must be booked about a year in advance because it is used for so many weddings etc. It is a bed and breakfast.

This is the Theatrical College in Lampeter that Brother and Sister Makings attends. I think it looks like the school in Harry Potter without the spells etc. Sister Makings is helping direct a play here and we will go and see it this spring. We go to this village once a month for our Primary Presidency meeting. Naomi Makings always makes lunch for us and it is a delightful day.

Amazing Elders

On Tuesday March 2nd this week we did our flat inspections in Llanelli and in Swansea and had the priviledge of taking the elders out to lunch. In the first picture is Elder Chamberlain from Lehi, Utah and Elder Ackerman from Chico, California. They are so much fun and are great missionaries. The next picture is of four elders who live in the same flat. They are Elder Wood (Zone Leader) from Park City, Utah and Elder Nimer(Zone Leader) from St George, Utah. They are amazing leaders and have become very good friends!!! The next two elders are Elder Wangeguard from North Ogden and Elder Leung from Hong Kong. They are also very excellent elders. We met Elder Wangeguard at the MTC. He had been out to our mission and had some health problems and went back to the states to have them corrected and then was able to return and serve here again. We are so happy about that because he is a diligent elder. In Hong Kong the church has a weekend program where those from main land China can come to Hong Kong where religion can be taught and be taught the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are then baptized the next day and then return to main land China where they meet discreetly with other followers of Jesus Christ in our church. There are many Chinese students in England and Wales and they are readily joining the church. Buddahism teaches Christ- like qualities and prepares them to accept Christianity.
