A Joyous Day!!

Sunday Ethan was baptized and I am here with Yali, his mother and his little sister, Isabelle. How we love this family. I was privileged to speak on the Holy Ghost at the baptism. Ethan will be a giant in the church!! His mother is amazing in the way she is teaching her children about the gospel and in the way she is so graciously serving in the Ward!!! How we will miss them.

These young children are amazing and are the future leaders for sure in this area of God's kingdom!!!

How We Will Miss Them

We are here with great friends, the Pomfrets and the Gilmours. We have had many wonderful times with Bev, Lienna, and TJ. Sister Gilmour and I have enjoyed being visiting teaching partners and I have loved getting to know her and her wonderful personality. We also enjoy her great husband and wished we could have been here when he sang in his Welsh choir.

Dear Friends from Milford Haven

We couldn't believe that the Milford Haven's Branch President's wife, Vanessa would come so far with her twin boys to say goodbye to us on Sunday!!! I have always felt a special bond with her and loved attending their branch and working in their area with their less active members.

More Goodbyes

Here I am with Delyth and Glyn Thomas on the left and Simon and Joanne Willett on the right. They came to church today to especially say goodbye to us. We have visited with Delyth and Glyn ever since we arrived in Carmarthen and I have been Joanne's visiting teacher since we arrived. Simon always comes in off the ranch and listens to our message even though he is not a member of our church. How we love these dear friends!!

A Night with Charles

Charles Goodford, the Elder's Quorum President and good friend from LLanelli, invited us to come hear him sing in his Welsh choir. It was a delightful evening and the choir was wonderful. We were especially impressed as they sang the National Anthem of Wales. It was very moving. We love this beautiful country and especially the people here.

Two Special Occasions

Today after church, Ross was ordained a deacon and Gareth, a teacher. It was very special for us to be there and very emotional for me. We love these two very fine young men and their wonderful family. To think of leaving them really hit me today as you can probably tell from the tears in my eyes. Their grandparents were there also and we admire and love them. Also you see pictures of the Aaronic Priesthood in the branch with their two great leaders. They are small in numbers but powerful in testimony!! We have become close to each of these young men and their leaders and they all are so GOOD and OBEDIENT!!!

Dinner with Mandy, Brandon & Lance

Saturday we went to Pembrokeshire to say some more goodbyes. We had dinner with Mandy, Brandon and Lance. Also pictured is Skippy, their dog who also loved my cookies. They have really fixed up the place and the back yard looks wonderful, thanks to Lance's hard work. We had a great meal and visit together. In the one picture, I am pretending to wring Brandon's neck because he has an ear ring which he is very proud of and of course which I do not approve of. We had many fun Family Home Evenings with this family and great memories with the young missionaries there in their home.

Goodbye to part of our District

Next week is transfers and we tried to take a District picture. We were able to capture most of the District at zone conference. We have had a lot of fun as a District and will really miss those who are transferred, well at least for the next month, since we too will be transferred home at that time.
